It must be hard if you’re a company making conventional seatposts and your name isn’t Thomson because we just don’t see how you can better this one. Everything about it has been exquisitely engineered. There’s plenty of support for the saddle rails to help stop them bending, the one piece design means there’s almost nothing to go wrong, and they’ve even made it so that if things really do go wrong the post simply bends rather than snaps, meaning you can still ride home. Saying that, we’ve never even seen one bend. That quality is even more impressive when you consider that they’re also one of the lightest. I suppose that’s the sign of great engineering.
