At 34.5lbs this has to be, by quite some distance, the lightest production DH bike you can buy, and we doubt you could custom build one any lighter either. Despite being so light it has also proved plenty strong enough, and there’s not a single component aboard that’s not capable of winning a World Cup. In fact, if you were to put together a dream spec list this would probably be it. As good as the kit is though it’s the frame that’s the real star. With the adjustable geometry you can set it up outrageously slack, so slack in fact that if the bike was any heavier it would probably be unrideable, and the suspension itself is nigh–on perfect.

All this for the weight of an average trail bike, and you get the kind of attention to detail that most designers would dream of. A seriously tough bike to beat.
