These brakes might well have a hefty price tag, but we feel that the quality of engineering and performance easily justifies it. They are without doubt the best looking brakes out there, which isn’t surprising considering they are designed and manufactured in Italy, but there’s far more to them than just great looks. The lever blade shape is about as perfect as it can get and when you pull on it there is an almost endless amount of controllable power. Downhill brakes don’t get any better than this, and they certainly don’t get any lighter. We also like the fact that you get to choose if you want fancy adjustments rather than having to pay for them automatically and carry around what you might consider to be unnecessary weight.
