It might be down to the ‘Wingflex’ sides that seem to mould to any shaped arse, but whatever the case the Gobi is the only saddle that we all agree is comfy. It might be expensive, especially when compared to a bargain like the Spoon, but for its comfort, low weight, and legendary Italian build quality we think it’s worth it. Over the years they’ve also proved to be hard wearing, but this new ‘Muzzle’ version, with its rubber protector over the rear, looks to have taken things on yet another step. It might look a bit kooky but if you crash a lot you’ll value it, and if you don’t then you can easily pull it off.
