With a choice of either 160 or 180mm of travel this is the little brother to Transition’s TR450 DH bike, and if you don’t get the whole ‘Mini DH’ thing then you obviously haven’t ridden this bike.

It is just super fast and fun, on pretty much any kind of track. With the rear end adjusted long we’ve been amazed at the speed it can carry through even the most technical of DH tracks, and then on the other hand we’ve been equally impressed at how much fun it is on the new blue run at the Forest of Dean. It just puts a smile on your face wherever you take it, and for some reason it pedals way better than a bike carrying this much weight and travel should.

If there’s one thing that lets the full build down it’s the quality of the wheel build, we’ve had spokes come loose left right and centre, but that’s easily remedied and in our opinion the overall performance of the bike more than makes up for it. It’s a tough call between this and the Morewood Kalula.
