FRAME

Adjustability is the mood of the 250 – you can alter the chainstay length, travel, head angle and bottom bracket on this bike – just don’t go asking me the reasons for needing to switch between 180 and 160mm. Must be the Pacific North West…strange place. Overall the emphasis is on a bike that is very much one that can be ridden hard, and as they say, “put away wet”, a bike that is easy to maintain, simple to tune and for the record pretty good to look at.

Small, medium or large – yellow, blue or black, the all–round nature of this bike is pretty much like the Scott Voltage we had last year, fun around the fringes, stable, nimble and simple. A low stand over for movement around the bike, angles for stability. The 250 does seem like it might suffer from excessive mud accumulation in the link area given that it shouts about low maintenance but still it has some clean lines.>>
