To be honest I really should have a clear out because a load of them now never see the light of day. The reason being that I always seem to end up with a favourite pair and then the rest barely get used. That ‘favourite’ pair has changed a bit over the years, but now I can’t see how any are going to take that title from the Scott Mind Shorts. It’s no exaggeration to say that they’re as perfect as I can ever imagine a pair of shorts being. The fit is incredible, helped by the excellent adjustable waist system, and although they look like a pretty chunky pair of shorts they weigh hardly anything. Despite that they still managed to come out of one of the biggest crashes I’ve ever had unscathed (it was just a pity about the rest of me!). Throw in some well placed zipped pockets, water repellence, a very high quality separate padded liner, and as I said before, I reckon you’ve got a perfect pair of shorts.
