Fed up with the same old fluoro tones and brands when it comes to mtb clothing? A new brand from London could provide the answer.
250 London started out as a moto brand (hence the name) but their kit proved so popular with moto riders who also ride mtb they decided to start producing a range for push bikers too.
At the moment they’re mainly targeting the downhill race crowd with a range of jerseys and pants that bring retro moto inspried designs to the mountain bike market and we love them.
Adam Waite, a tailor who simply followed his passion for moto, and Jen his wife, who was the first ever British signing for the Bontrager team in the 90s, are the duo behind the brand. Together they’ve just opened a bricks and mortar store in west London (that they’re calling London’s first Dirt bike boutique) and have a healthy online following of their kit.
Perhaps weirdest of all is that their kit has been featured in the Sunday Times Style magazine. Proper models in proper designer clothing with some moto pants. It’s all a bit funny really but maybe it won’t be long before we see Troy Lee, Alpinestars and 250 London on the catwalk.
