MTB Grips Reviewed | Hold Tight!

All–round/wet/dry: Specialized Sip

Dual density. The best all–round mountain bike grip on the market that works in wet and dry thanks to the half waffle design. Has a single clamp, good width and is available in different thicknesses.            www.specialized.com        £16.00

Multi day/Enduro: Esi Chunky

Multi day events take their toll on the hands. These Esi grips offer a degree of cushioning/damping which definitely has a benefit on hand fatigue. Not too bad in the wet, they also mould to your hand shape pretty well.   www.esigrips.com  £16.99

Dry: Hope SL

If you must go for a double clamp grip this is the one. Hope, as expected, have been super thorough with this design protecting the hands from bare metal contact in the clamp area. They incorporate a neat end cap too. Although great in the dry there really needs a wet weather option.            www.hopetech.com            £25.00

Dry: Bontrager Race Lite

Cheap and cheerful, hard wearing, with excellent grip even in 50/50 conditions. Swiss cheese inner allows rubber to be in contact with bar preventing rotation.      www.bontrager.com           £17.99
