Santa Cruz have just brought out another new bike, before the dust has even settled after the Bronson, they’ve just released the Solo. This bike has 125mm of travel, has 27.5 wheels and the carbon frame comes in at just under 5lb, it also comes in alloy. It’s pretty much a ‘go on an adventure bike’ as Peaty has shown us in this little video.
The Solo pushes further into the realms of 27.5″ possibilities. Developed using what we learned from Bronson, it takes the design platform in a different direction. The low bottom bracket height, shorter chainstays and 125mm of progressive VPP™ suspension give Solo it’s snappy, nimble, ride. A 68 degree head angle adds climbing agility into the equation, while a 5 lb carbon frame weight define Solo as the tool for that back country mission you’ve always planned. Responsibly offered in Mountain Rescue Orange, Solo goes where no bike has gone before.
