The Saab Salomon Avalanche Trophy is probably one of the best tests of all round mountain bike abilities together with fitness, stamina, endurance and being able to slide down a French glacier on your arse. (That’ll be stage 3, the Megavalanche then)

Five races across Europe, each demanding different skills, generally on a medium travel bike, with the overall winner walking off…driving off in a brand spanking new Saab car.
Not only that, the top 15 will share 8000 Euros per stage.

Will anyone be able to beat last years winner, Remy Absalon?

2nd Stage – Vallnord (AND) – Maxiavalanche 13,14 June
3rd Stage – Alpe d’Huez (FR) – Megavalanche 10,11,12/July
4th Stage – Are (SWE) – Maxiavalanche 29,30 August
5th Stage – Flims (CH) – Maxiavalanche 3,4 October
