I had a brief chat with French downhill and 4x rider Cedric Gracia and asked him a couple of questions about his plans for 2009.

How’s things?
Very fois thanks, I’ve been on holiday to get my tan ready for the season ; )

I will do some World Cups but not all of them because I don t have the budget this year.

Are you still with Commencal?
Yes I am. But with a diferent contract, it’s sponsorship based on the frame and transmission and all the other sponsors are my own ones . My contract is only for 2009 season.

CG is in South America at the moment riding a few of the urban downhill races at Santos, Brazil where he made the podium twice even with a busted wheel.

Next up is the Valpariso street race in Chile which we should have video and photo coverage, stay tuned.

Is that a busted wheel, or worse? Either way it’s one wonky back end.
