Just heard word that Katy Curd and Kurt Brain will be racing all NPS in Elite and Expert respectively with Katy also doing a full World Cup programme. They’ll be racing under the Ashton-Diamondback name.

So we all know Katy Curd, but who is this Kurt Brain geezer? Well apparently he was a pretty handy MX rider who was about to hit the big time, when a knee injury changed his plans. Since then he’s been concentrating on DH.

I noticed he won the seniors at the FOD mini DH recently setting the second fastest time of the day.

The Diamondback Sabbath, which I’m pretty sure they will not be riding.
