The Ride in Peace Fund was set up in memory of Tom Rodgers and Ben Ineson, two young DH riders who lived life to the full.
David (Harry) Carpenter sent over news from the latest Ride in Peace training weekend.
Last weekend saw the second lot of training, with eight lads on the Saturday and three lasses on the Sunday. The feedback has been great, everyone sounds like they learned loads, my favourite was from Chris Purves who said:
“It was an awesome day on Saturday, the best time I’ve had on my bike and learnt lots and feel much more confident going into my first race season.”
For me that makes the whole weekend worthwhile.

A big thank you to Andy Barlow and Ruaridh Cunningham for the training on the day and to Chris Ball for all his help organising the weekend.
Keep an eye on our Ride in Peace Facebook Page as there will be more training days coming up…
