Great news from the land of song.

While I was away World Cup filming duties for DirtTV in Bromont, Canada I bumped into two Welshies living in a tiny tent in the carpark-downhill racer Emyr Davies and beautiful camera women Meinir Siencyn.
Meinir has been travelling, filming and documenting Emyr’s adventure of World Cup and National races which are now being screened on Welsh channel s4c and also on Sky 134 every Wednesday night between 6 and 7pm.

Here’s what Emyr told me:

The show I’m on is called” uned5“, it’s a teenage Welsh language show and is very popular with the youth of Wales, I think that it’s the number one Welsh teenage show. And every week there’s about 10 mins of my riding/racing antics on it as a feature ( I wanted my feature to be called EMTV! but I think they called it “Beicio Mynydd Ems” which translates to “Ems’s Mountain Biking”) .

They followed me from about half way throught my season, and now we have ended up with 9 short films of my race season. The first and second program ( my profile, and fort bill nps) have already been, but the best is yet to come!

The show is on S4C and runs between 6 and 7pm every Wednesday night. I’m only a feature on it so I don’t know the exact time I’m on ( although I’m usually in the first half of the show).

The show is in Welsh but there are subtitles avalible!

For anyone who doesn’t live in the land of the gods where s4c broadcasts you can watch it on Sky channel 134.

Also the short films of me will be on their website after every weeks show, check out uned5 then click on “chwareon” (which means sport in welsh) on the right hand side. The first one’s already on there. The web site will soon be updated, so I think I get my own section on there soon so its a bit easier to find for the non-welsh speaker.
