the big yellow orb is still shining away, and the Brits are getting sunburnt. Things are settling into a nice routine here for the Dirt entourage; get up at 7.30 have breakfast, then spend the next two hours fixing punctures, bleeding brakes, changing tyres and generally faffing around with the bikes. I’ve got to say though, that i’ve had no problems on the hardtail, no mechanicals, no dinked rims and no puntures, ha! great, she’s bombproof out here, the big rigs are having loads of grief! so after the faffing its a couple of hours razzing the tracks, a spot of light lunch, you know, a goat baguette or something, then its back to the lifts and hit some more trails. Then its shit, shower, shave and out on the tiles for some apres ski, it really is the life. Ha
a spot of early morning fettling….
….then a bit of this…
followed later by some R and R….
the hardtail massive are here, and they all have big grins…

other news, Dirt rider Rob’ dazzla’ Breakwell is ripping it up, even though he’s fresh out of plaster, just been to the press conference, and the man Vouilloz seemed pretty chilled and confident, he reckoned it would be won or lost on the snow. Rene Wilderhaber also looked up for a fight, as did Misser, Pascal and Mick Hannah. Who knows theres so many top riders it could be a world cup. Oh and i’ve just found out that i’m on the front row of the quallifying grid along side Camellini and Blenkinsop, ha! nice joke someone.
Its qualifying tomorrow so i’ll let you know the score….au revoir….Billy
