sponsoree Young Talent Slopestyle and sponsoree Young Talent Summer Camp by NPJ
Essen (sgh) – For most freeride contests these days you have to have a big name in order to be invited. All other freeride enthusiasts must watch from the other side of the fence. Here, the sponsoree Young Talent Slopestyle follows a different route: big names may only have a seat on the judge’s bench for this contest, which takes place between 10 and 12 August 2007 at Bike Funpark Wittenburg East of Hamburg, is dedicated to newcomers only.
“Assisting young mountain bike talents is close to our hearts. Therefore, we are delighted to host an international rookie event in the scope of the sponsoree Young Talent Summer Camp by Niels-Peter Jensen at the brand-new Bike Funpark Wittenburg”, says Markus Floßmann, managing director of sponsoree Germany GmbH. “It is our goal to provide athletes who have a lot of talent but virtually no contacts to the industry with a platform to present themselves. Niels-Peter Jensen’s Young Talent Summer Camp and a Slopestyle for newcomers are the ideal complement to our online offer at sponsoree.com. It enables young talents to demonstrate their skills in front of an audience and – with a bit of luck – to pursue a career as a pro.”
sponsoree Young Talent Slopestyle
As the name already indicates, the sponsoree Young Talent Slopestyle taking place between 10 and 12 August 2007 is a contest for young blood freeriders. Pro riders or riders that already get invited to major freeride comps are not permitted. The minimum age for participation is 14 years. Participants aged younger than 18 need a declaration of consent from their parents. On Friday the newcomers have a full training day to get used to the Slopestyle course at Bike Funpark Wittenburg, Northern Germany’s first mountain bike park. On Saturday they can demonstrate their skills in front of an expert jury that comprises, apart from Niels-Peter Jensen also other adiridas. The winner will receive a sponsoring package from sponsoree.com helping to realise his dream of becoming a mountain bike pro. In addition, the top 5 of the Slopestyle Contest will get some cool sponsoree helmets and valuable prizes. Bike Funpark Wittenburg has created a special weekend package for all participants of the sponsoree Young Talent Slopestyle.
