Lenzerheide overall standings

Finn Iles is your first series winner!

Five down, two to go. We’re into the business end of the season now. If you want to be challenging for the series win it’s time to start making your move. If you’re at the top of the standings, it’s time to get the calculator out and playing the tactics game.

Men

A win in Lenzerheide keeps Greg Minnaar locked to the top of the standings. His lead has now stretched to 160 points – if he scores 91 points more than Troy Brosnan in Mont Sainte Anne then the series is his.

Troy jumps into second place following Gwin’s dramatic puncture. Thankfully Gwin still managed to score some points to hold steady in third. Loris Vergier and Jack Moir are unchanged in fourth and fifth.

Women

After trailing Tracey Hannah by five points in Vallnord, Myriam Nicole now leads the women’s overall. She has a buffer of just 80 points though so it’s anyone’s to play for in this unpredictable season.

You only have to go back another 80 points to find Tahnee Seagrave who stays fourth. Just behind her is Rachel Atherton who has now leapfrogged Manon Carpenter into the top five.

Juniors

Finn Iles has won the junior downhill World Cup series with two races to go. A no-show from Walker gives him an unassailable lead of 140 points as we head to his home race. Nice job kiddo.

It’s no a battle for second place with Walker, Cougoureux Breeden and Edwards separated by just 34 points. Gentlemen, start your engines.
