Ohlins is continuing its push to unseat the suspension big boys with a couple of new forks and a new spring brought to the table.
The RXF 36, one of, if not the, stiffest fork on the market and a firm favourite here in the Dirt office. It was originally an air sprung 29er fork but now we have a 27.5 inch version and a coil sprung version of the 29er.

Basically everything great about the 29er RXF 36 transferred to a 27.5 model. The stiffness of the 29er version is likely to be increased thanks to a slightly stouter design and the retention of the Boost spacing.
If it’s anything like the original, then this fork is for the fettlers, with a precise set up needed to get it right. Thankfully you have 15 clicks of rebound and low speed compression and five clicks of rebound compression to get the settings on the TTX damper sorted.
The fork is available in 150, 160 and 170mm travel options with the 170mm travel weighing in at 2,085 grams.
