If you currently get your virtual mountain biking fix by launching off Mount Chiliad in GTA 5 then this could be right up your street.

Lonely Mountains is a third person game that sees you hucking down an empty, pixelated mountain. It seems it’s more about exploration and freeride than whacking your competitors over the head with a broken bottle (a la Downhill Domination) although there are apparently bears that have to be avoided.

Megagon, the German developers behind the game, said: “Just you and your bike – take it on a thrilling ride down an unspoiled mountain landscape. Make your way through thick forests, narrow trails and wild rivers. Race, jump, slide and try not to crash – all the way from the peak to the valley!”
