Yep, great news has just come in from Gloucestershire and the 417 Project. Kona are now onboard, sponsoring the Dual Slalom and 4X tracks. Here’s the full Press Release:

KONA SPONSORS THE 417 PROJECT!

“Kona UK are delighted to be sponsoring the Dual Slalom and 4X tracks at Flyup 417 Project, near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. The venue is going to be a unique location for Mountain Bikers in the UK, with multiple tracks, air bag, indoor and outdoor Dirt Jumps, dual slalom course, 4x and the UK’s only Velosolutions, Claudio Calouri designed, indoor pump track. The venue is amazing with great topography, easy access, ample parking and a variety of graded trails. The Flyup team are already well experienced at giving riders exciting and organised uplift days having run uplfits at the Forest of Dean for six Years and at Gawton Gravity Hub for three. It’s great to be working with them. Kona will be on site with a large (we need to discuss Demo options with Kona) hire fleet as well as offering support at specific events through out the year. The 417 Project has a cafe and Leisure Lakes bike shop onsite – along with mechanics, so everything the rider needs! We are really excited to support the 417 Project, as it’s a trail centre with a difference; made for riders by riders. Its awesome to have a UK ride spot with such variety and we are really looking forward to Kona events including demo’s, press camps and video shoots.
