The mountain bike trails at Whistler, British Columbia are deservedly legendary, but they didn’t just happen.

The Whistler Trail Crew are the trail builders and riders responsible for building the and maintaining Whistler’s famous trails. For guys like John Blair and Trevor Berg it’s a dream job. They were into trail building while studying and discovered that you could actually do it as a job. “It’s like an endless weekend.”

In this short video, you meet some of the characters behind the shovel at Whistler Mountain Bike Park and then watch them riding the trails they’ve built – along with team riders Peter Matthews and Gareth Dyer – and wonder if you should just pack in your job and go join them.
