Watch: Nicholi Rogatkin lands world’s first 1440

Unbelievable

Simply unreal! Nicholi Rogatkin has added another 360 degrees on top of his 1080 Twister in mountain biking’s first ever 1440 – four full rotations. He performed it on the last jump of his Red Bull District ride, putting himself miles ahead of the competition who are still getting their heads round 720s.

Red Bull said: “That’s how you win Red Bull District Ride 2017! After three years away, the ultimate urban freeride MTB contest returns to the plazas of Nuremberg, Germany. Thousands of fans pack the streets as the world’s best riders throw down gravity-defying runs through the city’s different “districts.” Nicholi Rogatkin finished with a 1440, putting him into first place in front of Emil Johansson and Szymon Godziek.”
