There aren’t many riders in the world that would have made it down the Lourdes track in yesterday’s storm in one piece – never mind try and put a race run together.

With the overall in mind, Gwin still attacked the course but came a cropper on the same corner that unseated Bruni last year. Unfortunately Gwin got disqualified for re-entering the tape further down the track. He’ll have to start his title defence in Fort William. Watch the full run above.
