If you don’t like watching big slams, look away now as Bernard Kerr went down hard in the Crankworx Les Gets Air DH. It looks like his back wheel slapped a tree and then he got catapulted over the bars. Nasty.
Kerr said: “I thought jumping was my strength… This one’s gonna put me out for a bit but I’ll be rebuilt and back in no time!!! Massive thanks to @jackmoir_ for stopping trackside to help a fallen homie out!!
We’re not sure of the full diagnosis yet but hopefully Kerr is back racing again soon – it’s pretty gutting to think he’ll be out of action just after picking up his first ever World Cup podium.
