“I was just waiting to go unconscious”

Nicholai Rogatkin took what was described by Red Bull Rampage’s commentators as “the biggest crash in the history of 10 editions of Rampage” during his qualifying run for the 2015 event. While we’re not sure if we agree it’s the biggest ever (there is some serious competition!), the video shows the full extent of the fall, and it is frankly a miracle that the young slopestyle specialist walked – rode, in fact – away from this one.

It has to beg the question, “when is enough, enough?” Here’s hoping for the safety of all competitors as the level of riding at Rampage continues to go through the roof.
