The announcement of the Popty Ping trail this morning came with a funny grade – blue plus. But what does this mean?

Well, for the moment it’s a Bike Park Wales specific grading system and helps them differentiate traditional traditional trails from the more bikepark-y style trails that feature bigger drops and jumps. It seems like we’ll be seeing more of these too in future as BPW diversifies its offering.

To accommodate the new grading system, a number of trails have been re-graded. These are: A470, Enter the Dragon, Insufficient Funds, Hard Shoulder and the two pro lines.
