We are pretty lucky here at Dirt HQ to be in the centre of a near (and imaginary) ‘bike park triangle’. Bike Park Wales to the west, the new 417 Project to the east, the Forest of Dean to south’ish (kind of… not really!) and the ever growing Black Mountains Cycle Centre (just outside Abergavenny) to the north (told you it wasn’t a triangle).

We’ve been hearing so many good things about Black Mountains recently, and seeing so many super cool video shorts and photos on Instagram, that we had to get ourselves back up there it to check it out again. Photographer Ben Winder and rider Ieuan Williams headed up to meet with digger and spade supremo Shaun Bevan to take a quick look at what he and the BM crew been up to. Impressive to say the least.
