Pavel ‘Vishnevyi’ Alekhin has recovered from a badly broken femur and is back with this banger edit. He headed to an old fort in Kaliningrad, Russia’s most western city, to set up this line and film some world firsts.
He ended up bagging the backflip 4x bar, flip opposite whip to whip and the flip double whip bar, and they’re as bonkers as the names suggest.
Alekhin said: “It wasn’t the biggest setup I have ever tried in my life, but it was quite special. To land the tricks I planned I needed lots of airtime. So we made the landing twice as short as normal. It became more dangerous, but the airtime was unbelievably long. I always liked the spins. So, I decided to concentrate on these type of tricks such as barspins and tailwhips and to try to reach my personal limit in those popular combinations.”
