It’s the day of the Dirt Christmas Party and we’re already feeling a bit merry. To spread the good cheer we thought we’d re-share the most fun video of the year – Wee Day Out.

Danny MacAskill is back in his native Scotland and he spent all summer shooting this absolutely banging new video called Wee day out.
It follows him as he treks around Edinburgh’s countryside to find the best trials and trail spots. As usual these may not be things us mortals even see such as houses, railway footbridges and six foot deep puddles – but then that’s probably just a standard day in the country for Danny!
It feels to us more like his internet-breaking The Ridge, filmed in Skye, than his more staged efforts like Imaginate, but either way, the man with 250 million views is about to get a shed load more.
Danny says: “Although I’m doing very abnormal riding, I set out to make a video that hopefully relates to the normal rider.
“Every rider has had to ride through a puddle when it’s been a bit unknown how deep the centre of that puddle is, it just so happens that the puddle in my film is 6ft deep.
“I wanted to do a video on the mountain bike again and give myself creative freedom with this film. It’s meant to be a fun day out on the bike, so I wanted it to be quite light hearted.”
