If you managed to get hold of the latest issue of Dirt (issue 146) then you’ll have no doubt spotted the big Aaron Gwin interview that we featured. I went over to visit him at his house in California to find out, amongst other things, exactly what happened last year. I mean Aaron’s 2013 season certainly didn’t live up to his previous two seasons in terms of results. We ended up talking about all kinds of things, and for a fair old while. Of course in the magazine we’re limited as to how many words we can fit in, and so we had to edit the interview down considerably. We felt it was only right though to offer you lot the chance to see the full unedited interview, warts and all, and so that’s what we’ve now decided to do online.

The full interview lasted over three quarters of an hour and we thought that might be a bit much to take in one go, even for the biggest of Aaron Gwin fans, so to make it a little easier to digest we’ve split it up into three parts. The first of which you can watch below, and then we shall share the other two parts with you over the coming days. For the time being though, here’s part one…
