Last weekend saw the Chile National Enduro, which looks like a super fun event! Here’s the race report.
Starting on the right foot the Enduro 2013 season began in Chile. On Sunday the 23rd at the Hacienda Las Varas in Santiago, the first date of Mountain bike National Enduro Championship Powered by Sram commenced.
300 riders arrived to complete a demanding course with 6 liaisons and 6 special stages. This circuit which already had known trails was lengthened with interesting surprises that left the hacienda Las Varas circuit with a very good stock of tracks.
The day was characterized by incredible grip due to rain showers the day before and the day of the race that at times made the ground slippery. None of this stopped the competition which continued as normal and with the good vibes that characterize Enduro.

During the different liaison stages, we heard comments like: “I’m exhausted”, “This is endless”, “I’m cramping”, and even with these sorts of comments, the riders were happy to participate in this experience that is Enduro.
