Yesterday’s qualifying results showed a bit of a mix up with the riders who could be in the running for today’s finals. In the men’s we saw Aaron Gwin on top, Connor Fearon in second and Remi Thirion in third, but several of the top dogs went down hard and fast getting too excited in the Leogang dust. Rachel Atherton had the women’s fairly well sealed ahead of Emmeline Ragot and Tahnée Seagrave.
Once it had all calmed down and Wyn Masters had drawn people’s attention to himself as a walking hazard, we headed into the pits to find out how the riders felt about their day of qualifying.
