In Mont-Sainte-Anne we saw Sam Hill and Manon Carpenter take the top step, fast-forward a week and we’re into round 6. Our next stop is Windham, USA.
Trail Map
The last World cup at Windham was back in 2012. Aaron Gwin and Rachel Atherton were the victors that year. Gwin won with a time of 2:26.416, only 0.958 up on Steve Smith. Rachel took the win with a 2:52.062 just 0.262 up on Tracey Hannah. The fastest time was put down by Gwin – 39.17mph through the speed trap with Rachel not far behind at 37.70mph.
LOCATION
Windham trails are only open for mountain bike races, it’s not open for riding at any other time. There is a lot on offer in the area aside from trails and it’s also a ski resort in winter.
Situated near New York, the trails descend 1,200 feet and cover a range of terrain. In the dry the trails are fast and flowy but are known to get pretty wild when it rains.

Weather isn’t looking hugely promising at the moment but it could change..
