How many other races let you jump out of a house?
You have to use every inch of track available in Valpo
This 200 metre stair section had a load of hidden gaps, only the most precise riders could hit them all.

It was the first time Slavik has won the race on his fourth time of trying. He said: “I’m stoked. It was a great experience to race against these riders in this beautiful location. I would definitely come next year and I would tell other International riders to come and live this event”.

His time of 2:48.48 on the 1.8km course was enough to beat out Bernard Kerr into second (2:50.56) and local favourite Pedro Ferreira (2:52:52) into third.
