PMBA Endruo 2016 round 4 – Graythwaite Hall highlights

Four fresh cut tracks for the PMBA

Round four of the PMBA enduro series visited a brand new venue in the form of Graythwaite Hall.

Situated on the western shore of Windermere, the PMBA was given free reign to build what they saw fit, and that turned out to be five loamy, steep, fresh cut trails. The race was a crowd favourite –  except for a push/run up that really separated the fit from the lazy.

The race finished with a drop built by Stockport’s answer to Dan Atherton – Farmer John. It was easily the biggest feature ever seen in a PMBA and was a fitting end to the hectic course.

Hope’s Ian Austermuhle came out on top with James Swinden and Joe Flanagan following close behind. The Open women was won by Claire Bennett, Rachel Simpson was second and Abigale Lawton third.
