Results:
Gee Atherton: 4:36.712
Brook Macdonald: 4:37.854
Stevie Smith:4:38.073
Gee looked a little relieved to be on the top step of the podium once again, whilst Danny Hart, the fastest qualifier, just didn’t manage to put it together in his final race run. Full race results can be found here.
Rachel Atherton: 5:08.846
Manon Carpenter: 5:18.985
Emmeline Ragot: 5:20.219
It was the Atherton’s year at Fort Bill this time around with Rach taking the win by over 10 seconds! Full women’s results can be found here.
It was very nearly a tripple win for the GT team as Taylor Vernon had been looking very much like the rider to beat in the junior mens category, especially after qualifying fastest, but a flat in the finals took him out of contention and Gstaad-Scott rider Noel Niederberger took the win on the day. Richie Rude is the only junior to opt to race against the seniors this season and his final run was actually quicker than Niederberger’s. Full junior results can be found here.
And finally, here’s a full replay of the Red Bull live feed.
Now you should be ready for all the action from the second round of the World Cup in Val di Sole this weekend! Stay tuned…
