Troy Brosnan has qualified fastest at the 2017 Vallnord World Cup.
He put down a time of 4:08.349 to give himself nearly a second’s breathing space over the rest of the field. This is the first big statement form the Canyon team on the World Cup circuit and it comes on the back of Troy’s win in Crankworx Les Gets. Brosnan getting up to speed on the deadly Sender could well be a potent combination for the rest of the season.
Second place went to series leader Greg Minnaar with his Syndicate team mate Loris Vergier backing him up in third.
Vallnord hasn’t always been a happy hunting ground for Gwin but he seemned more at home this weekend as he piloted his Tues into fourth.
Loic Bruni rounded out the top five
