Fresh off the back of her win in Innsbruck, Tracey Hannah put the hammer down to claim pole position in Andorra.
Coming into the final sector, it looked like Myriam Nicole would be fastest at Commencal’s home race, but Hannah pulled back nearly two seconds to claim top spot.
Marine Cabirou was another Frenchie chasing Hannah hard as she finished up in third – her best ever qualifying. Fourth place went to Tahnee Seagrave who was seven seconds back on the top time and Manon Carpenter completed the top five.
A returning Rachel Atherton is clearly not quite up to speed yet and finished eighth.
