Since Kovarik’s domination in 2002, Fort William has remained pretty much untouched. A grey ribbon winding through Aonach Mor that’s caused 14 years of battered rims, punctures and beaten bodies.
This year though, there’s been a lot of work done. A new section scars the bog starting at the Deer gate and finishing down at the woods. Rider consensus seems to be that it’s going to be flat out and pretty much a continuation of the top section – no bad thing.
