It came back into our lives in Pietermaritzburg after what seemed like an age, then like a cruel mistress vanished once again leaving a World Cup shaped hole where once there was fun, laughter and the sound of dirt on rubber. But fear not my children the UCI World Cup has returned to rouse our lost souls once more, for this weekend we welcome back none other than Fort William, the favourites favourite favourite.
This also means it’s time to don your bookies’ cap and decide who’s in for the win in round #2 and update your fantasy team accordingly. Remember you have one transfer between each round with the transfer deadline at midnight tomorrow (Thursday). With six rounds left and over 6000 teams registered it’s still all to play for.
Who will cut the mustard? Who will seal the deal? Is Greg going to reset the balance after a mechanical (allegedly) cost him the win in 2010? Will Gee make it two from two at Fort Bill? Or will Aaron Gwin and Cam Cole have something to say about it? If you just can’t make your mind up here’s last year’s results from the Fort.
