The mist descended on track in Mont Sainte Anne for qualifying making conditions a little trickier than normal.
Steve Smith went fastest and Rachel Atherton took the women’s qualifying continuing her run of form at the top of the field.
Gwin, Minnaar, Blenkisop and Hill are all mixing it back up in the top places but the bigger story is some solid performances from the young guns. Troy Brosnan, Loic Bruni and Neko Mullaly all delivering positions that guys who have been doing racing a lot longer would be proud of.
