DirtTV: Enduro World Series Round Two Tweedlove | Race Recap

Web images: Ben Winder

The Enduro World Series at Tweedlove was a massive success as an event but a challenge to many riders. Steep tracks in tight trees meant that opening the throttle wasn’t on the cards for much of the weekend.

Tracy Moseley was dominant in the Women’s race and left her rivals wondering how they could compete on a style of track Moseley knows well. Anne-Caroline Chausson took one stage win but Tracy had the rest. Anneke Beerten was 4th everywhere apart from one stage and that was enough to keep that place overall. Cecile Ravanel proved she has the speed to beat Chausson and did so on stage 5, that combined with some solid 3rd and 2nd place finishes gave her 3rd overall.

The mens race was thrown wide open and the final podium consisted of all new faces, Nico Lau was fast on the steep tech of day one with Joe Barnes close behind. Favourite Jared Graves was denied the big points crashing early on. He came back to claim a stage win on 8 and leave on a high note. Justin Leov built slowly to take 2nd overall, he maintained top 4 places on 4 stages without dropping from the top ten all weekend. Joe Barnes has been over here training this winter and it showed, he is used to riding the tight stuff in Scotland but he refined that art further to take his first EWS podium with 3rd place.

Dirt has been at the event all weekend, check out all the content we have produced so far right here:
