Dirt/Norco rider Dan ‘Stanny’ Stanbridge has just phoned in the results from a wet and wild Caersws Halo BDS.

Just had a call from Stanny at a bar in a a field in Caersws where winner Al Bond was necking a pint of cider/lager/energy drink(?) after winning the Halo BDS final round and also the series overall!

The weather took a turn for the worst after a dry Saturday. Just as the Elites were heading up for qualis on Sunday morning the heavens opened at a time when most riders were on dry tyres with no tear offs or mud deflectors (posh name for mud guard). Carnage!
Rain continued for most of the day but Bondie battled through it to win by 3.8 secs from Brayton and 5.4 from Simmonds.
