2014 Fort William World Cup – DirtTV Pit Chat with Brendan Fairclough

Brendan Fairclough is arguably the most stylish rider you will ever see throw a bike sideways, legendary whips, moto style and flat out riding are his trademark. Top racing results may have eluded him, 7th in Mont Sainte Anne last year and before that it was 2010, 3rd in Champery when he was riding alongside Sam Hill aboard a Specialized.

The new world order of DH tracks on the race circuit might not suit Fairclough but he is changing the habit of a lifetime to climb the podium steps. Having your own signature pedals from DMR is a pretty big statement but racing is racing and Brendan has turned to clips to add a few mph to his track speed.

Apparently he is going to leave the clipped in whips to Danny Hart but I’m sure we will see the odd one this weekend.
