The peoples World Cup trackwalk favourite and MS Evil rider Wyn TV Masters is out for the rest of the 2011 WC season with injury.

Bad news for Kiwi World Cup star Wyn Masters as he heads home for more surgery after the plate in his arm bent.

I saw Wyn at Leogang and his arm looked a swollen mess.

Here’s what Wyn told us:

“Season never really got started for me as I am now heading home in a few weeks for more surgery as one of the plates in my arm has bent as you can see in the x-ray, pretty gutted as I put a lot of work in to be fully ready for this season and then this happened without even crashing on it too, and I am most disappointed to be missed World Champs in Champery a course that suits me and somewhere I felt I could of had a chance to go for a top result.

Now its another round of surgery and then on the couch again for a few months but I will be back next season motivated”
