Aaron Gwin Wins Men’s Qualifying at the Val di Sole World Cup finals

Aaron Gwin has just won qualifying at the final round of the 2011 World Cup in Val di Sole, Italy.

OK, so qualifying is still taking place, but it looks like Aaron Gwin has just won qualifying ahead of Stevie Smith, Danny Hart and Troy Brosnan…young guns on a charge! It is a great/crazy looking top 10. Marcus Pekoll in 6th, Loic Bruni in 7th, Florent Payet 8th, Matt Scoles 9th, Mickael Pascal 10th (that is three French riders in the top 10). Then you have Jack Reading in 12th, Josh Button in 14th and Matt Simmonds in 15th. Good stuff. Minnaar? He is way back, I presume he must have crashed somewhere on-track.
