UCI Modifications to mountain bike regulations

The UCI have just published the modifications to their MTB regulations.Any student out there with an hour to spare fancy reading through it all for anything of interest?

Following the results of the off-road survey (endurance and gravity) carried out by the International Cycling Union (UCI) last September and published on its website, the UCI has modified its mountain bike regulations.

The amendments appear in red, and the original version is the English document.

The mountain bike regulations will not be subject to any further changes as far as content is concerned; only the lay-out will be adjusted. This final version will be published in English and French on the UCI website by mid-January 2011.

The new UCI Mountain Bike Regulations come into force on 1st January 2011.

Morgan Hampton spotted this helmet cam amendment:

4.3.014 Helmet cameras are not permitted during qualifying rounds and finals. The riders are responsible for
securing the fixation of the helmet cameras in order to avoid any danger. The UCI can decide to allow a
helmet camera during finals but only for the usage of the TV production company. Metal/permanent
fixtures to attach the helmet cameras are not allowed, tape and velcro are allowed.
