Superenduro Euro Cup, three appointments not to miss this summer!

Sharing the same philosophy about mountain biking and racing the organisers of the Italian Superenduro series, French RiderZ Cup and Swiss Torgona Bike have united their forces to create the first european Superenduro series, the Superenduro Euro Cup. Their goal is to create three unique appointments that will enable amateurs and pros alike to meet in some of Europe’s finest riding locations to compete in a new and exciting racing format which is revolutionizing the world of mountain bike competitions, and now as well crossing Europe’s borders to became an international series!
The dates and location for 2009 are:
– July 4th and 5th, Sauze d’ Oulx (Italy)
– July 11th and 12th, Orcieres (France)
– August 8th and 9th, Torgon (Switzerland)

The riders who will finish all three races will be awarded with a prestigious plaque which will honor their participation in the first ever international enduro mountain biking series.

Some background information on the organizers of the Superenduro Euro Cup:
RiderZ Cup
Long running french racing series of highly succesful enduro competitions, based on the philosophy of having bikers from very different backgrounds, from downhill to XC, competing at the same level. The most well rounded riders are rewarded, for their fitness and riding technique. Great attention is devoted to the courses, which are made as safe as possible for the racers but also devised to enhance the terrain’s best characteristics. Superenduro
Born in 2007, Superenduro has quickly risen to become Italy’s most succesful mountain biking race series. Its philosophy is similar to that of the RiderZ Cup, with a strong influence from motor sports such as rally car racing and off road motorcycling, especially in the organizational aspect, and the ability to manage large efficiently a large number of partecipants. Torgona Bike
Torgona Bike is a two day celebration of all things bike, held in the beautiful swiss town of Torgon, in the Portes du Soleil area. An enduro race has been part of the Torgona Bike weekend for the past few years, and the 2009 edition will see the Enduro event as one of the focal points of the 20th anniversary edition of Torgona Bike.
