There is a big “air dome” at the top of the hill next to the start. Peaty, Minnaar and Rennie found themselves in the dome and needing relief. They did what anyone would do and pissed into the airducts.
A wooden post some electrical tape and an old ski pole is all that is needed to set up the start timing system that will set the worlds best riders off on the most exciting race of the year.
